TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

DEFINITION
In these terms and conditions and in all contracts to which these terms and conditions apply:
“The customer” shall mean yourself
“The company” shall mean Arun Kitchen Studio Ltd
“The goods” shall mean the items specified in the order

TERMS OF PAYMENT
Payment of the total price, less any deposit paid, shall be made to the company’s representatives by the customer as follows:

  • First Stage: A deposit of 50% is required to secure your order.

  • Second Stage: The remaining balance, minus £500, must be paid in cleared funds before the scheduled start of your installation.

  • Final Stage: The remaining £500 will be settled once all work, including snagging, is completed to your satisfaction and you are ready to formally sign off on your kitchen project.

For supply-only orders, full payment shall be made to the company’s representative upon placing the order. Any minor adjustments required thereafter shall not be considered sufficient reason for withholding payment of the whole or any part of the contract sum.

COMPLETION
The company will ensure they complete the installation of the goods within a reasonable time. It is an expressed condition, however, that time shall not be of the essence in respect of the completion of the installation of the goods by the company. The customer agrees to give free access to the company installers to carry out the installation of goods and shall ensure that any necessary re-routing of electrical and plumbing installations (unless expressly included in the contract) are carried out at the customer’s own cost in order that the company can proceed with the installation of the goods.

If the customer does not give access to the company within 14 days of the customer being notified the goods are manufactured and ready for installation, then the customer shall be liable to pay the company the balance of the contract sum within 14 days after the initial 14-day period has elapsed.

The customer is not able to change door styles or colours after completion of the survey. The customer warranty will not include any marks or scratches after the job has been signed off.

WORKS BEING CARRIED OUT
Removing existing items so the new goods can be fitted can on occasion cause disruption to the surrounding areas. The company cannot be held liable for any damages caused that enable us to carry out the contracted work. We can only guarantee the work we have carried out to the point of connections we have made. We accept no liability for any previously installed plumbing, pipework, gas, or electrical connections unless otherwise detailed in the company order form.

APPLIANCES
All appliances supplied are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. The customer is responsible for registering the warranty with the manufacturer within 14 days of the installation date. The company is not responsible for warranty or faults.

TITLE TO THE GOODS
Title to the goods shall not pass to the customer until the full contract sum has been paid to the company.

CANCELLATION
By signing this order form, the customer is agreeing for the company to proceed with the order. As the items supplied are made to measure, the customer may not cancel an order unless the company agrees in writing prior to the goods order being processed. The company will not agree to the cancellation of an order once processed, and the customer will be liable to pay full costs.
